Arabidopsis plants in the lab

The Wyatt Lab grows the Arabidopsis plants it studies from seedlings. The images below show a generation of plants in the growth chamber.

(1) A single inflorescence stem towers above the crowd. (2) The plants are tagged and labeled for sample identification. (3-4) A student removes a mature plant with several inflorescence stems. (5) The inflorescence stems are removed and frozen in liquid nitrogen in preparation for analysis.
